Dibbuk Box Movie - The Possession Movie

Update: The movie has been retitled The Possession

The Dibbuk Box is an upcoming horror movie directed by Ole Bornedal for Lionsgate. For those who don't know the Dybbuk Box (or Dibbuk Box) is a jewish wine cabinet that was brought to America by a Holocaust survivor after World War II. The box is supposedly haunted by a Dybbuk; a Jewish malevolent spirit. The box achieved recognition after it was auctioned on eBay with an accompanying horror story. The film is a fictional take on the whole thing. The movie Dibbuk Box is starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Kyra Sedgwick. It will be released on October 28, 2011

Plot:
"A young girl buys an antique box at a yard sale, unaware that inside the collectible lives a malicious ancient spirit. The girl's father teams with his ex-wife to find a way to end the curse upon their child."

Can't say I'm excited about the Dibbuk Box, but well if they do it right it could be entertaining.
